Community Guidelines

• One account per person - Creating multiple accounts to circumvent bans or manipulate the platform is prohibited
• Accurate profile information - Your location should reflect where you actually sell from
• No impersonation - Don't pretend to be someone else or a business you don't represent

• Accurate pricing - Use realistic prices. Placeholder prices like $1, $123, $111,111, or $9,999,999 will result in listing removal
• Accurate vehicle information - Year, make, model, mileage, and condition must be truthful
• Your own photos - Use actual photos of the vehicle you're selling, not stock images
• One listing per vehicle - Don't create duplicate listings for the same vehicle
• No prohibited items - Stolen vehicles, salvage titles without disclosure, or illegal modifications are not allowed
• Sell your own items - Only list vehicles and parts you personally own. Posting on behalf of others is not permitted
• Disclose dealer status - Commercial dealers must identify themselves as such
• Stay active - Sellers are expected to respond to inquiries promptly. Listings from accounts inactive for 30+ days will be automatically removed

• No harassment - Threats, insults, discrimination, or persistent unwanted contact is prohibited
• No spam - Don't send unsolicited promotional messages or copy-paste responses
• Respect boundaries - If someone isn't interested, move on
• Keep it on platform - Complete transactions through Torque Trader for your protection

• Report honestly - Only report genuine violations. False reports waste moderator time
• No report abuse - Repeatedly false-reporting a user to harass them will result in your ban
• Provide details - When reporting, explain the specific violation

When meeting buyers or sellers, consider:

• Meeting in public, well-lit locations
• Bringing someone with you
• Verifying vehicle history and titles independently
• Using secure payment methods
• Trusting your instincts

Torque Trader is not responsible for any transactions, disputes, or incidents that occur between users.

Violations may result in:

Serious violations like fraud, harassment, or illegal activity may result in immediate permanent bans without warning.

• Your account email
• Description of the issue
• Any relevant context or evidence

We review all appeals, but decisions on serious violations are typically final.
